Ninja Egg Meringue

Can I Make Meringue In A Blender? (YES)

Are you sick of whipping egg whites by hand, only to end up with sore arms and a meringue that’s not quite right? Are you looking for a faster and easier way to make meringue without breaking a sweat?

Well, you’re in luck, because today we’re going to talk about whether or not you can make meringue in a blender and the best way to do it.

Lets Whip!

Meringue is a mixture of whipped egg whites and sugar that is light and airy. It’s often put on top of pies or used as a base for mousse and other desserts. Making meringue by hand can take a long time and be tiring. Using a blender, on the other hand, can make the process much easier and faster.

The good news is that you can use a blender to make meringue. But not every blender works the same. Some blenders, like the KitchenAid, have a special attachment for whipping eggs that works great for making meringue.

Even though some blenders, like the Nutribullet, don’t have a specific attachment for making meringue, you can still use them to make it.

To use a blender to make meringue, you’ll need to separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Then, add the egg whites and sugar to the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture becomes stiff and shiny. You can stabilize the meringue and make it even fluffier by adding cream of tartar or lemon juice.

The best blenders for making meringue are those with a strong motor and a big container for mixing.

For example, the Vitamix or Blendtec are great choices because they have a powerful motor and a big blending container that can hold a lot of egg whites and sugar.

Make sure your blender is clean and dry before you start.

If there is any oil or moisture in the egg whites, they won’t whip up properly. Start by putting the egg whites and sugar in the blender and blending on high for about 1-2 minutes. Keep an eye on your mixture as it blends, and stop the blender when the mixture starts to get thick and foamy.

At this point, you can add any extracts or flavors to your mixture, like vanilla or almond extract. Blend for another 1 to 2 minutes, or until stiff peaks form in the mixture.

You can now use your meringue. You can put it on top of pies, pavlovas, or any other dessert you like. You can even pipe it into sweet little meringue kisses.

Here is an idea for a recipe:

Lemon Meringue Pie: Turn your oven up to 350 degrees F.
Roll out a pie crust that was already made and press it into a 9-inch pie dish.
Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup of lemon juice, and the zest of one lemon into your blender.
Mix it until it’s well blended.
Put the mixture into the pie crust.
Blend the egg whites, sugar, and vanilla extract together to make meringue.
On top of the pie, spread the meringue.
Bake the meringue for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
Let it cool down first before serving.
